Lesson #1

We are only a few days into the road trip and we have already learned some valuable lessons and discovered some useful tips! Here is Lesson #1:

Lesson #1 - Booking a hotel room in advance for Vegas is necessary  (if you want to get a good price!) – you also want to make sure there are not any extra fees that you have to pay when you get there. We used our handy AAA book to find a couple cheap hotels on the strip, but once we found one that we thought was in our budget we were hit with a Resort Fee of $16! We were happy to find out that the Resort Fee included free wired internet access in the room but it was money we were not prepared to pay.
